Wish us luck. The Cabin Fire started today at about 1:30 pm in the Angeles National Forest. Same place I ran my race in less than two weeks ago. Already over 1,800 acres. With extremely hot temps and low humidity, and no ability to provide air support at night, as well as our long drought, this has the chance to be big. Brings back memories of the Station Fire (over 200,000 acres) in 2009 which prompted this grown man to cry as he watched his favorite places go up in flames. Those places will never be the same in my lifetime.
