Been having trouble starting our old 2002 Ford Windstar in the subzero mornings, even though it is in the garage overnight. Have had to spray ether in the air filter 3 or 4 times over the past two weeks to get it to turn over.

So I started raising the garage door and running it for about 10 minutes before I go to bed the last few nights, thinking it would be easier to start in the morning.

This morning I couldn't fine my keys and went to see if I left them in the car. I did, with car still running, garage door still up. Ran from 11pm to 7am, eight hours!

Just because my mother calls me sonny, doesn't mean I am bright.

Question, what if anything, have I done to our old mini-van?
