My Buckeye Brethren,

I'm moving to Dallas in February and I don't know a lot about the city. Do you all have any guidance to offer as far as cool neighborhoods to live. I'm looking for an area with a decent night life (ie: bars, restaurants. etc.) that's pedestrian friendly (but I will have a car), and not too pricey.

Pretty excited but nervous too. Any help you might offer is much appreciated.
