So... is it about time that the NFL learns to stop taking QB's that run a spread offense in college?
I know that he got injured and that doesnt really relate to the offense he was running but he want exactly tearing up the NFL either.
I was reading an SI article once and the Baylor offense is a derivative of the Mike Leach offense that Oklahoma ran years ago. Then there's Texas Tech, Ok State, Washington State, Arizona, Houston, Texas A&M, Southern Miss, North Carolina, etc., etc. There are all derivatives of the same offense.
I'm curious if anyone can name ONE successful QB in the NFL that comes from that style offense. Not Sam Bradford, not Josh Huepel, not Jason White, not Zac Robinson, not Kevin Kolb, not anybody that I can think of.
I think the jury is still out on Nick Foles but when do you think the NFL will stop drafting QB's from the spread system?
