"Every year, you're the No. 1 student body in America." – Urban Meyer

Since Urban Meyer's arrival at Ohio State, he's invited the student body to watch and participate in a spring practice followed by a chance to meet with the players and coaches.

Saturday, over 2,500 students filed into the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to watch the team scrimmage, engage in drills, hear from legendary college football coach Lou Holtz, get a close up look at Ohio State's championship trophies, and of course partake in complimentary food and refreshments.

For those unable to attend the events and for those who's BuckIDs have long since expired, here's a rundown of the sights and sounds at Ohio State's 2016 Student Appreciation Day.

Note: To get the full effect, I heartily suggest pumping LL Cool Jay's "It's Time For War" on repeat as you read.

Of course, the autograph hawks were back at it again.

Evidently, Ohio State strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti is an acquired taste.

Sam Hubbard is certainly a fan favorite, but freshman longsnapper Liam McCullough had his share of supporters as well.

Reminder: Kerry Coombs is 54 years old.

That's a wrap. You now have roughly 364 days to enroll in classes and join the fun next season. Get to it.
