Well, somebody would be hard pressed to find a more American story than this one today. After all, it features two of Americas most renowned #brands: Waffle House and the Southeastern Conference.

From MYFOXLANTA:

“Waffle House is excited to team up with our partners to bring the second annual Waffle Wager to the historic Auburn vs. Georgia rivalry,” said Waffle House CEO and President Walt Ehmer. “College football is a big tradition in the waffle nation, and we wish both teams good luck.”

What exactly is the blood feud known as the Waffle Wager? Well:

If UGA wins: Royal Cup will provide hasbrowns, waffles and coffee for an entire day at a Waffle House location in Athens.

If AU wins: C.H. Guenther and Basic American Foods will provide hashbrowns, waffles and coffee for an entire day at a Waffle House location in Auburn.

Hmmm. According to Google Maps, Athens, Georgia, is 84 miles closer to Columbus, Ohio, than Auburn, Alabama.

ROLL DAMN DAWGS.
