Wisconsin Takes Down Michigan in OT
In another outstanding B1G conference battle, Wisconsin improved to 8-3 while dropping Michigan to 8-3 with a 65-62 win in overtime in the Kohl Center.
After Tim Hardaway Jr. buried a triple with a few ticks left in regulation, Ben Brust answered with an Evan-Turner-Redux of sorts to force overtime.
From there, the Badgers gave up just two points in five minutes to capture the win. Burke had 19, Hardaway Jr. had 18 and Brust had 14.
Wisconsin has now won three in a row.

As nice as it is to see the team up north lose, is anyone else mad that Wisconsin won? It's a win & lose situation for me. It seems in both basketball & football, all Wisconsin ever does is make a living off upsetting higher ranked teams. But they never seem to make any significant achievements at the end of the season, whether it be losing their bowl games or falling out of the tournament early if they even make it in the first place. All we can do is hope that Alabama will schedule a game in Camp Randall, maybe then their existence can actually benefit the Big 10 somehow.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, & Michigan still sucks
I think you can say that about their football program...I think they're somewhat more legit in basketball, but still not in that upper echelon.. They're upper mid-card, to use a wrestling term. I think that's a fair assessment of Wisconsin.

Alabama playing a game north of the Mason-Dixon line? Ain't gonna happen in our lifetime
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
I loved this. I know it came from Wisky but I love the dagger in Meatchicken's heart. When we beat Indy tomorrow, I think we will be tied for first. OMG!
This season has been crazy, both in the BIG and in the rest of the country. Without a single dominant team(like Kentucky last year), it seems like anyone in the top 15 could potentially make a run at the title. It is going to be a very mad march.
Wow... just wow
Any time scUM loses it is a good day!
We all hate the Vadgers but, Wisconsin or otherwise, it's always a good day when TSUN loses.
Completely funny that the fans of the losing team are complaining about not getting foul calls at crunch time. Karma just happens to be a giant bitch!
You tell the SEC when they can learn to read and write, then they can figure out what we're doing. - Gordon Gee
Michigan can't stand prosperity. If they had won, they likely would have been #1 in the polls.
Didn't Beilein learn how to defend that when Evan Turner beat them with an identical play in the Big Ten Tournament?
I was thinking the exact same thing when he made that shot.
For whatever reason, Beilein still doesn't put a man on the inbounder, allowing him excellent vision and no immediate infringement of a passing lane. Unreal.
Give him credit...they weren't in a 1-3-1 at halfcourt!!
But no foul? Seriously? They only had like 4 or 5 at the time.
This game was the only one that I wanted Wisconsin to win. OnWisconsin

It was awesome. TSUN is vastly overrated and had no business winning this game, and it was sweet justice to see them lose. They're some shoddy officiating away from 3 straight losses.

I only wish there was someway that both teams could come away with a loss.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
Burke ever made a clutch shot?
scUM gets Evan Turner-ed again! Love it, even if it was done by Wisconsin!
Watched the highlight again...terrible coaching/awareness by both teams not to foul at the end of the 2nd half and OT in the last 10 seconds of both. Both teams were well under 7 fouls (it was like 3 and 5 in OT at one point), use a foul or two around the 8-10 second mark to get the other team out of sync. You still have another foul to do the same at 5-6 seconds. Michigan up 3...should foul to get the 1-and-1, wait it would have just been an out of bounds play at like 1.5 seconds. So dumb. I guess hindsight is 20/20 though.
Deal with it.
Anytime aacc loses, no matter what sport, it is a great day.
