I wish college football was still like this. Am I the only one that gets ramped up seeing the teams clash at midfield before the game, Woodson/Boston going at it, the pose, even OSU tearing down the banner. It's just boring compared to how it used to be.
Hell, Jack Del Rio was throwing his headset and clipboard a week ago and Tubberville was knocking sense into his assistants. It's a start.

I agree! I loved the "iconic" moments that you know are going to be replayed forever. There is always going to be respect but it would be nice to see a little fire come out on the field again. Could you imagine if a coach did that now a days!? The media backlash would be a huge sh*& storm.

I'm torn Hail. I generally perfer people being classy, but I could make an exception for the Michigan game. The Game is great because of the hatred/respect. I wouldn't mind seeing some passion down on the field boiling over for that game. Against Indiana?? Not so much.

I was at that game. It was the first time I had ever seen the Buckeyes or Hayes in person. It was a great game, too.
I had to look up the '71 Buckeyes record; the old story was that the game was not televised (!?) because the Buckeyes were at that time 6-3 and the game did not determine the Big Ten champion. The record shows that OSU lost four games that year, by a total of 20 points altogether. That made more sense, because that was a pretty darn good OSU team. Michigan had a great team (a 13-12 loss to Stanford in the Rose Bowl spoiled a perfect season), and OSU gave them everything that they could handle.
Woody drew two 15 yard penalties for that outburst. I don't think it mattered. It was almost the end of the game; Michigan did not need to move the ball after retaking possession and Ohio State was out of timeouts. It took a while for Woody to boil over; two or three plays. He got a 15 yard-penalty for arguing the call at the time, and then with Michigan running out the clock, he went after the down markers.

Gah, I crossed my clipboard streams. Give it another pull.
That yard marker didn't stand a CHANCE!!!

Can this become the new standard, "this page does not exist" picture?
You. I like you.
Gonna be tough to unseat our 404 champion, though.
Agreed, the Neutron Man is immortal. Perhaps we stick to the current theme and put it to a vote?
This never gets old :)
Go Woody....Go Bucks !

Yeah, and if a player struck a pose in the endzone after a punt return it would be a penalty and no TD. What a shame.
