I don't follow recruiting as closely as some of you guys...isn't there a recruit who is verballed to Tennessee who said he has a close relationship with Dooley and might flip if Dooley leaves?

You're probably thinking of Vonn Bell. He isn't verbaled to UT but does have them high on his list. The loss of Dooley helps out Meyer's chances of getting Bell significantly.

That was the one, thanks.  I couldn't remember his name or whether it was high interest or a verbal.
Tennessee's loss might just become Ohio State's gain.

Vonn Bell, COME ON DOWN!

Patrino might be a fit

And TN will always be a better job than KY no matter what in football.

This would be the best job for Charley Strong of all of the SEC openings, IMO. They will not hire Petrino. They already had Kiffin. One scurvy dog is enough for each generation of UT fans.
Does anyone think that this will force Auburn to fire Chizik sooner rather than later to allow for the best candidates not to be swept up? For as good as the SEC is, that's a ton of turnover at head coaching positions.
