The Mewhort and Stoney thing surprises me actually. Tommy Brown and Tony Underwood on the 2-deep gives me chills. Didn't Chase Farris move to the OLine? I know Baldwin did and thought I read that Farris did too.
I'd worry more if Brown and Underwood weren't backup guards. For example, Byrant Browning became more than serviceable when he was switched to guard. Not saying that it'd necessarily be the same case with Brown and/or Underwood. But if everyone stays healthy, I can see Mewhort, Norwell, and Linsley destroying fools, in some combination (right now, all three are on the right side, but maybe they could be reconfigured if necessary).
Depth is a serious concern, but if the winner of the Fragel/Decker derby plays well, then if they have to plug-in Brown/Underwood into the rotation (either to rest starters or because of minor short-term injuries), I wouldn't be that concerned.
If 2-3 guys go down and they start talking about moving Underwood back to tackle . . .
It's been that way, but I think it's clear they will both see plenty of PT this Fall (once Hall returns from his injury).
Good to see Connor Crowell now listed as backup to Grant at MLB. He should be a solid choice. I think I also read yesterday that incoming frosh expected to get a shot at MLB include Jamal Marcus, Boom Perkins, Cam Williams (of course), and Luke Roberts. I was mostly surprised to see Boom on that particular list as I thought he was OLB all day long...

Underwood is going to be a pretty good Guard down the line mark my words. Brown will e fine too. Both young kids that will develop.
