Yes! Love this move for both Dane and the Bears. They don't have a top flight reciever and Im sure Dane had a few teams to choose from. Let's hope he sticks around longer than Marcus Freeman did.

Cutler can sling it if he has a line and he doesn't have any receivers...at least I hope he can.

During Mike Martz's tenure as the Rams OC and HC, the Rams never had great offensive line talent outside of Orlando Pace. Granted Orlando is awesome, they had some gaping holes in their pass protection. Those deficiencies were a big reason that Kurt Warner's career in St. Louis ended the way that it did, and probably played a part in him continuing to suck while in New York. The dude got shell shocked. The same exact thing happened to Marc Bulger before he was unceremoniously booted out of town.

The good news is while the shelf life of Martz QB's isn't that great (though his ability to spot NFL caliber starting QB's is incredible), his wide receivers usually get a lot of production even when the QB is getting blasted. Though Cutler will definitely need to sack up and man up if this is going to happen.
