Going to wait a day to verify, but can't wait to dig up all of the "WE'RE MICHIGAN. GLAD WE DON'T WEAR THROWBACKS. THANK GODZ FOR ADIDAS. LULZ SUCKEYES" posts from the last two years if true.
Commence ridicule... now. Confirmed; both adidas schools will do throwback uniforms for the first-ever night game in Michigan Stadium. Since I was one who sneered at throwbacks (what the heck would we throw back to, anyway?), you get your laughs now.
Best guess so far about the Michigan unis is that they will essentially look like the 1968 ones. M on sleeve, numbers on sides of helmets (numbers had been on the helmets from '57 to '68).
Jason, you and your compadres will like this. A '68 photo, which shows the Michigan away unis from that year, as Rex Kern and Jim Otis run off the field after about thier tenth touchdown that day...
That day, Otis was the truck and Kern was the truck driver. I wish I knew more about that picture; I was wondering if it was the "we couldn't go for three" conversion. Fortunately, the next year was a different story.
Now we just need to get Penn State to do throwbacks.
Of course, like Michigan, the question would be, "throw back to what?" Well, it is true that their original colors were pink and black. It would be kind of breast-cancer-awarenessy.
You know, Nike should let each team's throwback uni be designed by its rivals.

With 10,000 alumni and 74,000 truck drivers watching in the stands, right?

Regardless of the authenticity of these jerseys, the high horse now gallops away sans UM fans.
