I wonder if this is connected to the story that a top 12 program is going down. I hate a feeling we're going to hear a lot about NCAA violations this offseason.
I was thinking the same thing but what I got out of Cowherd's story is that it's much bigger than this. BTW, he threw Auburn back into the mix yesterday.

Well it seems like Auburn is bound to go down. The NCAA is digging into their current recruiting and I think more info is going to come out about Cam Newton too. Tennessee may get nailed. This Oregon thing could just be the tip of the ice berg for them. If the new rumor is a school not listed above that will be another big name getting kicked to the curb. Add in the Tat 5, and you have the NCAA trying to prove they are legit again. That's why I really doubt we'll see a reduction in the suspension for the Tat 5.

Yep...about an hour ago. Shot down my previous post but like BT said I think there's more to come involving other schools. The NCAA took a lot of criticism last football season. They're out for blood.

I sure would rather talk about conference expansion ala last offseason than this stuff.
That being said, with all the shadiness that goes on in recruiting it would be nice to see those who are the shadiest punished for it.

Seems like a lot is popping up about Oregon. Wouldn't it be something if the 2 teams in the MNC game this year get slammed by the NCAA.
