The Ohio State football program has found a replacement for associate strength and conditioning coach Rick Court — Villanova strength and conditioning coach Phil Matusz. He comes to Ohio State after two seasons at Villanova, where he was a three-year starter on the football team and captained the 2009 national champions.

Court left Ohio State in January to be the head strength and conditioning coach at Mississippi State.

How come no one told me Court was taking B1G speed to the SEC?

So he will be Mariotti's 2nd in command?  Or is that Schlegel?

Does Villanova play Div 2 football?  I'm confused on the National Championship.

I'm not positive what division they're in, but yes they won their respective national championship. Obviously not FBS.

Villanova plays at the FCS level.  They beat my undergrad in the semifinals on their way to the championship that year.  Still sad about it, but I'll get over it if he does well for the Buckeyes.

From what I read about him (a short piece) over on SB Nation, the players at Villanova really like him.  I would like to know  more about his career path, and what part he will play in the football S&C program.

Is Anthony Schlegel still on the staff?

Welcome aboard Coach Matusz. GO BUCKS!

I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

Mickey Marotti is the head guy.

Kenny Parker, Anthony Schlegel and Jeff Uhlenhake are assistants.

Rick Court was second in charge, but he left for a new job. Either Matusz will take second in charge or one of the three previously mentioned get a promotion with Matusz being an assistant.

Who is your alter?

Look closely, because the closer you think you are, the less you will actually see.
