Florida Slips Toledo

Part of me really wants to see Jeff Driskel evolve into something resembling a competent quarterback, but unfortunately it looks like that's not really in the cards anytime soon. Still, 262 yards on the ground is nothing to sneeze and, and the Gators survived a little MACtion of their own to escape unscathed at home.

My personal hope is that running back Mack Brown (112 yards on 25 carries) continues to be a fixture, because then I can continue to envision the other Mack Brown running around in the Florida backfield in an old timey leather helmet and barking out crap like "BINGO KATHERINE HEPBURN BLUE TACO UNDERPANTS GO!!"

So Ohio State beat their MAC opponent by more points than Florida did. I wonder if Florida is going to drop in the polls because of this weak performance?

Doubt it.  Last year they moved up all the time by beating crap teams.

It's the SEC magic. They will move up a we move down.

Both teams deserve to move down in the polls. But Florida won't drop much. SEC is God in the polls.

Will Florida fans remember today when buffalo runs over the rocket?

That won't happen. Toledo will beat them.

If Urban didn't leave the cupboard so bare at Florida, the Gators would have won by more.

Its all relative, and not making any excuses, but Buffalo is picked to win its division and Kent is picked second to last in that same division, probably because they lost Darrel Hazel.

And OSU was picked as the #2 team in the country. We sure showed them.
