Johnny Football Booted from Texas Frat Party

Johnny Football's summer-long bender has already cost him a coaching job at the Manning Passing Academy, but if you thought Manziel was done partying, you don't know Johnny.

From the fine folks at Burnt Orange, above you will find a video of pink shirt-clad Johnny Football having a beer can tossed at him and UT fratbros screaming obscenities at him as he leaves the premises. The place looks like a dumping ground, and Manziel's beer of choice last night was quite suitable for his surroundings:

Why won't Texas fans love Johnny Football like he apparently loves them? #hookem

UPDATE: This just keeps getting better. Per Deadspin, Johnny Manziel is now at UT Fiji's Islander party, wearing a Tim Tebow Jets jersey.

Imagine Braxton up in Ann Arbor singing Hail to the victors and partying up at UM...this kid is a joke.

Idaho Helga's picture

So, how bad would your behavior have to be to get thrown out of a frat party?   In Texas?

steensn's picture

I was a Fiji, for about 6 months until I realized it was a omplete waste of time and money...

steensn's picture

And he's still underage BTW

IBLEEDSCARLETANDGRAY's picture

Wow, he managed to do something not even George W. Bush did, get kicked out of a frat party in Texas while completely hammered and acting like an idiot. Set that bar high Johnny.

To be fair to Manziel, I think he was booted more for who he was than anything he was doing.

This is turrible (intended, Barkley voice)  to say, but maybe we should thank Johnny Football.  Now the negative media frenzy can move back South where it belongs.
Where is the uproar from the media to his coach?  Isn't this really all Kevin Sumlin's fault?
But seriously, has anybody heard his coach mention anything about his underage drinking, etc?  Urban just sent a guy packing for that.
I was hoping he'd beat Alabama (it IS at A&M this year) but now I'm wondering if he's going to be in the game.  You can't be in the daily headlines Johnny.  If he were my son, I'd get him counseling, talk to the coach and demand accountability before he does something incredibly stupid.  Damn you, you've got a Heisman.  Stop looking like Charlie Sheen.

Idaho Helga's picture

I think because 1) we're all bored 2) He got the Heisman 3) Hoping he can beat Alabama again 4) worried about getting a second Heisman (since Archie seems ok with it I'm not too into that)
There are those who are fascinated because they think he's "llivin' the life" but I'm big on #3 so I wish someone would rein him in (and at his pace for negative headlines) soon.

Buckeyevstheworld's picture

I can somewhat understand the first. The 2nd seems irrelevant to me. I've never expected Heisman winners to be choir boys.

Am I the only one that thinks Bama will stomp A&M this year? So to me that eliminates 3-4.

I just get tired of hearing about him every other day. It's almost as bad as the LeBron coverage.

A college student drinking underage? Get the FBI involved, this may be a national epidemic.

"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."

DaytonBuck1980's picture

It's not simply a "college kid" it's Johnny Football. There's a big difference. If you or I were to get a DUI for example no one cares, when a Denver Broncos executive does it it's all over the news. The position he's in is what makes it inexcusable.

Still not giving a damn for the whole state of Michigan.

BuckI_1033's picture

Everyone is overreacting, he had some beers with his friends, not a big deal. He'll be ready to go for camp and when he has another great year, no one will care about this.

Underage drinking isn't a big deal?

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

BuckI_1033's picture

I do not believe a 20 year drinking beers is a big deal.  Now a 12 year old, yes that's a big deal. There's a large difference.

"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."

Buckeyevstheworld's picture

All he has to do is wait a little more than 4 months to drink. It's not that hard.

Buckeyeneer's picture

BuckI_1033, to clarify, I don't care that he is drinking underage. I did it too. But if I were as famous as him in an age of instant pics being available online, I would alway have a red solo cup on me so at least there is some plausible deniability.

Yes, I see what everyone is saying. I guess my point is that, we've all been there as well so lets not forget he is still only 20, he can have some fun. I don't see the harm in it, he should probably be more private.

BuckI_1033's picture

@Buckeyevstheworld Well by your logic, drinking beers underage is a very bad thing to do. However, hitting women, as long as they take the first swing, that's ok.

"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."

buck-I.8's picture

Which would mean that hitting a woman that has had a few beers while underage is social justice, yeah?

Buckeyevstheworld's picture

Where did I say he should be locked up? And also point out to me where I said it's ok to randomly smack women?

If a woman hits a man, he has every right to hit her back. I don't really care if you get upset about it.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

steensn's picture

Ive never been there, and I don't think it's ok to hit a girl if she swings first. Both are illegal therefore not ok. (Personally I think the drinking age should be 19)

Buckeyevstheworld's picture

The way people act, I say 22.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

DaytonBuck1980's picture

No. You're correct. In the grand scheme of things, having a beer with your friends isn't a big deal. However, when your underage, you've already had a string of run ins with the law AND your the Heisman winning QB for a top 10 college football program than yes it is a big deal

Still not giving a damn for the whole state of Michigan.

He was funneling his keystone through his anus. He pulled it out and stuck the funnel in his mouth for another beer. The frat guys noticed he didn't even pull his pants up. It was over. That's what a sorce told me.

All untrue, but it doesn't matter. Lets talk about Buckeyes. Lets talk football. I'm so tired of whatever his name is. Until we play them I don't honestly care.

If you didn't tell me that the video was from a UT frat party, I'd have thought that Manziel had made the biggest mistake so far of his controversial summer swill tour . . . running into Penn State fans.
Of course, if that scene had played out in "happy" valley, Manziel wouldn't have been able to walk out on two feet . . .

Great idea.  You know what I'm going to do?  I'm going to go strap on one of my 9 OSU football jerseys and go up to Ann Arbor and crash their bars and frat parties.  Or get an Urban Renewal OSU shirt, head down to Gainesville, and crash their shit.
I'd expect the same response as Manziel got - "GET THE FUCK OUT!"

ColerainBuckeye33's picture

Yea he is acting like a typical 20 year old college kid.And right there lays the problem because he is under a bigger microscope then almost any 20 year old on the planet. Instead of using the media to help catapult his success he is doing the exact opposite and using it to help just destroy his public image. Im sure he will get drafted by a team somewhere, but I know after all that has been put out about him that he wont go where he would have gone. Make your own bed and lay in it lil john.

I thought underage drinking was heavily discouraged and against the Aggies Core Values/Creed? Isn't that grounds for banishment there? Could've sworn I read that on here from one of the commentators..?

You would think there would be reprimand for one of there players breaking the law and having pics posted numerous times this offseason.

Or at the least, some form of punishment... I just don't understand how he goes away unscathed with all this stuff he brings on himself... It's just going to get worse if everyone lets him just walk away without being reprimanded. Well, I guess that's why I don't get paid the big bucks lol.

So far it looks like that.  But if he beats Saban & crew (unlikely, but PLEEZE!) and keeps his nose clean during the season, well we shall see.  He hasn't done anything MoC like yet.  But a DUI when you're underage and he's toast.  I hope someone in his inner circle is preaching to him now.  You are no longer Joe Schmuckatelly.  You are a Heisman winner.  Start acting like one.  And don't go crying in the media that  you are "just gonna live your life".   You asked for the attention so get out of the limelight for awhile and maybe you'll deserve to have the cameras not on 24/7.
Going to a Texas frat house when you are at A&M is about as stupid as it comes.  Geeze.
