Deshaun Thomas finished with 22 on 8-13 shooting, Aaron Craft chipped in 15 and Slam Thompson threw down another dunk that will land on SportsCenter's Top 10. Oh, Evan Ravenel even reached doubles with 13 points, helping Thad Matta secure his 100th Big Ten win with a 74-64 roadie at Purdue Tuesday night.
Purdue is a sub-.500 team, but the win will help wash some of the yuck from Saturday's lashing in Champaign out out of everyone's mouths.
Matta's crew improved to 12-3 (2-1 B1G) and welcome the hated Wolverines to the Schott Sunday.

Time to feast on the tears of purdue fans on HammerAndRails.
Great win by our team, and I hope this momentum carries over the rest of the season.
Interesting how this has played out. Illinois loses to Purdue and takes it out on OSU. OSU loses to Illinois and takes it out on Purdue. Will Purdue take it out on Illinois next time around?

I love it when a plan comes together. /A-Team'd
Very happy to see:
Oh, and Slam Thompson is a lot of fun to watch. Glad I stayed up to watch this game for all of these reasons and more. (Granted, Purdue was 7-7 and Ohio State should run all over .500 teams, but, it was a vast improvement nonetheless.)
Concerning we got Thomas basically no looks down the stretch. And Scott disappeared after a good first half. But a road win is welcome.
If Thomas is ever on for a full game, he will score 40.
You mean we get him more than 13 shots??
Solid road win. But, man, until we have a post presence we are not going to be very good. Amir looked awful in the 2nd half. Ravenel was average. I hope we can get another big man in '15.
