please Lord, let OU destroy TAMU
man, Fox does such a better production for bowls than ESPN for the BCS
Come on man. Really?? How so
from the intro/hype videos, to the quality of broadcast...also Gus Johnson is the man...throw in no ESPN constant love affair with everything SEC, this should be a pretty balanced analysis during the game
I can't stand most of their no name announcer, and that they do weird stuff like focus on a Gatorade container for twenty seconds.
Think Gus is awful at football.
Gus Johnson on the call...the man's voice is like a double shot of espresso
Dang no Matt Millen i was really looking forward to stabbing my ear drums.
I hate how they emphasize THE Oklahoma Sooners. Fail...
In other news Gus Johnson is calling the game so I'm fired up! Let the SEC bashing begin!
Look closely, because the closer you think you are, the less you will actually see.
BOOMER SOONER tonight...but Landry Jones probs tosses 3 picks including a pick 6
man, I want OSU's offense to be at this tempo...play over, boom go again
hopefully the Browns will be
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
Im scarlet and gray through and through but you have to love Johnny Football
Sorry man, I drink the haterade
if you are not with us, you are against us.
must be that cloudy Ohio weather
The Buckeyes down south
release the hate
College Football is fun
especially when u r 12-0
Eh, I'm not really mad, I just hate all the hype.
So true. It's even hard to be mad that Bama is going to win another championship because it just means that we are the only undefeated team!!
I wish Gus Johnson could announce my life...it would be so much more exciting.
"As long as we're keeping score, we're gonna try to win this thing." - UFM
I just want a HA! HA! every time i do something spectacular, which is rare.
I do love a and m's all white uni's!
I agree, they look sweet - I thought the same thing when the Hoosiers did the same thing earlier this year.
i hate you Manziel, I hate you so much, you are too damn good
Bob was not happy with his bro.
OU had Manziel couple times there, if they could be more disciplined they may be able to slow him down, but you give that kid an inch and its over
Don't see helicopters at football games often.
What an awesome nickname...The Belldozer
This game has the makings to go down to the wire, and I love it. I love these offensive battles with sprinkles of big hits by the defense in between
I think so too, it's been a good one so far. Could have been a completely different story though if Manziel hadn't overthrown Swope on that bomb. Nice little Friday night.
Another branch from the Tressel coaching tree; Mark Snyder the D coordinator for the Aggies.
"Fate has cards that it don't want to show"
I always liked him, I thought he would have done better for Marshall.
Ditto that; I thought he would do well and be at Marshall for a long time.
Is it just me or is Kenny Stills really underrated? He seems to be really polished and is fast. I mean he just seems to be complete.
gotta score here
I like football
gotta catch that
Should've had that one
Yep Stills is good; if it's in the neighborhood he usually catches it.
Holy crap nice run. DAMNIT
oh i bet the a&m fans like that run!
Love him or hate him, Manziel's definitely a gamechanger. He's impressive to watch.
He is slippery and for a little shit he can toss it.
Manziel has only thrown one really impressive pass in this game so far, but being over 100 yards rushing in the first half makes up for a lot.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
should have been caught... how the hell does Manziel do this crap
Stoops jumps like he has to pee.
I didn't realize Hamby was playing for A&M now.
a little late on the flag, but i think it should have been called regardless
these att commercials crack me up.
like what OU's doing on offense...thing is, they are prone to turnovers and they cant afford any tonight with that midget on the other side doing his thing
A thought related to the BIG; although there is a HUGE difference in talent; the coach at Indiana, Kevin Wilson is the architect of this OU offense. Considering what they did to us.....
Manziel is pretty nasty, but I just can't seem to watch any bowl game this year for longer than 5 mins. Back to watching King James do his thangggg.
petros papadakis is one guy i am not a fan of at all
I remember him toting the rock at Southern Cal. Decent running back in the day. One thing to be said about Petros, he wasn't afraid/too big a homer to call out Pete Carroll or Reggie Bush a few years back.
His voice is kinda grating, so I can see why you'd say that. If you ever listen to his radio show you might change your mind. The guy is funny as hell.
just like that... idiots
dont see OU putting up too many points tonight, this could be an ugly loss for the sooners if this continues
Yea, OU needs to wake up and quickly - they're lucky to only be down 8 so far.
Been inside the 20 twice, just need to finish.
Johnny Football doesn't seem to have that Heisman hangover like Troy Smith did.
i was just thinking how difficult it must be to be in that position and play "like normal" when you know you got a trophy for being the best player in america. looks like he has definitely shaken that off a while ago
He didn't pack on the heisman fifteen.
I don't know if Manziel was actually the best player this year, but it continually blows my mind that he's a freshman.
did that dude just say 18 play drive?
I feel like jones has plenty of room to rush up the middle after he drops back. A couple of those would seem To force the defense up and out of coverage.
Oklahoma is not going to win this game. Not gonna happen. The Aggies will be able to score any time they need to, and Oklahoma is already behind.
i hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it.
So TAMU already epitomizes "SEC style" defense... Hmmm.
I'm with you bro; this fricken announcer is a complete moron; SEC this and SEC that give me a damm break.
They played what, like 9 SEC games, yet have magically transformed into something completely different and superior to the Big 12... Whatevs.
SEC until they lose a bowl game; then they are a bastard child.
"Clutch has no boundaries"
yeah, if TAMU was still in the Big 12, theyd be treated like Oklahoma has been over the years with their offense and I dont think Manziel wins the heisman...many pointed to his win over Bama has the reason he won the heisman...his numbers deserved it but the 'SEC' thing played a big role...hopefully OU pulls this out
this game is quality
Huge TD, and OU getting the ball in 2nd half - could be a real quick turnaround.
I said yesterday in another thread that I am always anti-SEC, but I can't bring myself to root for Oklahoma. Somebody help me.
the term 'SEC' has been used in the sportsworld more than any term over the last 6 years...so redundant... i get why, i just hope that announcers get sick of it soon
The UnderArmour game is re-airing on the U right now - gotta check out those future Bucks at halftime.
fireworks are unnecessary
geesh, thank goodness for the UA re-airing, Joey Harrington is an idiot
Also, why do they have Erin Andrews' chair jacked up so high she looks taller than Eddie George? #FoxSucks
why do they have Erin Andrews' chair jacked up so high
oh i get it
That photo does not suck.
Even Eddie George is getting in on the TTUN bashing. Good one Eddy!
I thought I heard Eddie call them by their correct name.
EA needs to lose the hipster glasses now.
It kills me how these TV people don glasses to try to make themselves look smarter; it didn't work for Diane Sawyer or Katie Couric and it darn sure doesn't work for Erin Andrews; you are still a bimbette; just saying.
Desmond wears hipster glasses too - enough said.
Dwayne Wade is so smart, he doesn't need lenses
Diane Sawyer IS smart with or without glasses
Now that's funny; without getting political; she is about as smart as a box of rocks.
Glad you are amused. Too bad you are totally wrong.
if it aint broke dont fix it
Oklahoma defenders take absolutely horrible angles when Manziel scrambles
not much u can do when the kid completes passes the way he does
He's playing like a Heisman winner tonight.
so oklahoma rushes on first down for two, rushes on second down for six, and they throw it on third and long one? i would hope we don't see that. doesnt show much trust in your o-line, or your team's toughness. or i could be wrong? thoughts?
how open are these WRs
They're that open because the Aggie offensive line is giving Manziel enough time to take naps in the pocket if he wanted.
close to game over
I just switched over to Eastbound and Down reruns on HBO Comedy.
I will never understand how Stoops and the Sooners never get/ got 1/10th of the criticism Tressel and the Buckeyes got from 06-10.
Take it as a compliment. It is because we matter.
3-5 in BCS games, 1-3 in MNC games. #BIGGAMEBOB
Inní mér syngur vitleysingur
Bye bye Sooners...
Well, watching Manzel and A&M, there is definitely a reason they beat Bama this year. The team looks pretty damn balanced all around. It's hard to believe an A&M team is scary good.
2012 Beat Michigan Tail gate: UFM: "Let’s beat the sh*t out of Michigan, have a good night."
Texas A&M the best team in the SEC? tOSU v TAMU in 2014 me thinks.
OSU to make 5-0 vs. TAMU, I like that!
In other news this game is over.
I'm embarrased for OU...So Mr. Stoops are you on the downward spiral or is A&M just that good?
A&M looks scary good...
I sure hope Braxton will be working his ass off between now and the start of 2013 season because based on the last few days he's maybe the thrird best QB around. But hey, I just want him to win all the games including the Championship; could give a rip about the Heisman.
Isn't he working with Manziel's QB coach from last offseason?
had a feeling it was going to turn ugly for OU after the 2nd TAMU TD... OU's offense is so bland, even with all of those weapons, and their defense has zero clue on how to stop Manziel...of course pretty much no one has stopped him, but to have over a month to prep for this game, youd think Mike Stoops would have had his defense playing disciplined football and their DBs would actually cover someone...think Bob Stoops may be on the hot seat in Norman sooner rather than later as Oklahoma doesnt look like itll be in a national title conversation for a good while
Ou's defense looked like our defense against IU.
Nice glasses jerk! I'm very afraid Manziel will be a two-time Heisman winner by the time he leaves A&M. I'm very impressed he looked as good as he did after winning the Heisman and being in the spot light. Oklahoma on the other hand, is there a worse team in the post season?
First year in the SEC and they do the chant. Unbelievable. No pride in their history.
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
Eh, when your history includes the Southwest Conference, I'd be ready and willing to move on, too.
The Aggies wanted out of the Big 12 for years, largely because - in the words of the late, great Rodney Dangerfield - they got no respect. Moving to the SEC was mostly about reestablishing the program outside UT's shadow; coming into the toughest conference and dominating as they did was an unexpected outcome. And if anything, the "SEC" chant was a f*ck-you to Oklahoma after all the smack Big 12 fans talked about A&M after they jumped.
So, you think "Big Game Bob" (not even close to correct) will take any flack over another OU asskicking in a bowl game? They don't win significant games under Stoops, save for the 13-2 defeat of a way overrated FSU squad. ESPN will probably blame Terrel Pryor for his loss in some way.
