After that UAB game I didn't think watching an OSU game could get any more painful. Well, I stand corrected.
This is hard to watch.
Looks more than just even. Our special teams are bad as ever and our offense is totally out of whack. This game is the hard proof for me that our breakdowns are team wide. Our d has been on the field all game again.

Bright side: Playing possibly the worst half of football I've ever seen and only down 6. Is it possible to come back from this mentally for them? They need a MONSTER half time speech from Simon.
We'll pull this out in the end. But let's keep things in perspective no more Heisman and AP NC crap talk. No more certain coaches are infallible while others are solely to blame.
Miller doesn't deserve the Heisman. He is not a good passer. He's indecisive, holds on to the ball too long, has terrible footwork, and accuracy.

I was going to be pissed at Kawan Short for the late hit, but when I saw the replay it was pretty clean, if a little late. OSU coaches need to show that tackle to our defense as an example of how to wrap up and drive a guy to the turf.

Why are we going away from the run? I know they are a good D-line but we went away from it heavily. It seems that miller isn't taking off much either. When he runs and starts eating up yard we usually start having a lot of good pass plays to follow.

Because Hope is a better football coach. He has inferior players, but plays right to the weakness. Millers passing is bad. Put 8 in the box and stuff them. It worked against Beanie also. Refs called a poor TO at the start to change the color of the game, incentivised cheap shots on OSU players, suddenly were blinded to Purdue's penlaties, left our main man in the hospital, and ended up leaving us with a loss. You can downvote me all you want, but the refereeing this season has been absolutely deplorable and this game was the cherry on top of it all. If I'm Urban Meyer, I go back to the tape, point out every single mistake, then file a complaint with the officials. If the point is to protect players, you're doing a damn fine job, you zebra-striped f888ups.
