WB needs to wake up. I love this kids game. I know he has it in him man, hes gotta stop shooting and start dishing until he gets an open lane to drive for an easy bucket to build up his confidence. But then again, I do not know much about basketball since I got cut from my 7th grade team and decided to wrestle instead, haha
You're pretty close. He's been driving more today, but he honestly needs to realize he's not MJ and can't clear space then chuck up 18fters and expect to be continuously successful. There aren't many defenders who he can't beat off the dribble which means easy points if he really wants to be efficient. Time will tell if he realizes this.

Not to be too much of a downer, but when you factor in that this was probably Sullinger's best half of the season, that Wisconsin isn't making anything from outside, and that this team has lost its last two dogfights on the road...things are looking a little shaky.

Thomas is by far our best player. If Sullinger gets better at the 15 foot range jumpers he could approach it, but Thomas is just so athletic in a way that Sullinger isn't.
Thomas' game is offensive rebounding and finishing.. which is great but he is nowhere near Sully's class
I'd be willing to bet he has a much better pro career than Sullinger. Sullinger knows the game better than anyone to come through here in a long time, but he's not that tough and not that athletic. He uses his body extremely well and has solid post moves, but he isn't quick enough to go up against the big men he will meet in the league.
Thomas is very good. He will take us very far in March. But he is not in Sully's class at the college level.

I'm still amazed that we're up by 6 to be honest. Deshaun is a great rebounder and Sullinger is a beast, but NO ONE has stepped up at all. Somebody needs to step up! Anybody!

I love Buford's game, but he can be so streaky. He has the ability to be the great distributor, yet he turns the ball over making ill-advised passes and miss dribbles. When he's not making shots, he looks very careless.

refs havent been that bad. one thing i hate about bball is that the bitching about refs is an excuse for almost every team that loses
agreed, they have more fouls against them and we've shot 9 more foul shots. can't complain about reffing overall.
When you shot 45 threes a game, you dont get foul calls. A discrepency does not mean the refs dont suck. When you play a drive and post game as OSU does, you should get more calls because a lot more contact is created.

I don't normally root for UNC, but if Diggs in attendance, I'll root for UNC to destroy Maryland and thus silent the crowd, make it a lousy atmosphere, people leaving early, etc.
My thought exactly, Maryland knows Diggs was at OSU/Mich game, why wouldn't they want him at the MD/UNC game? I don't think it ultimately matters, though, as the Urban factor wins out here. I think he'll commit in the next few days to OSU.
