I hate cheering for other teams, but let's Go Sparty!!! I hate that state up north and since Alvarez left coaching I despise Wisconsin with a passion. Bielama is a tool, no check that guy is a tool box. I can't stand anything about that guy. I don't know who disgusts me more bielama or the bb coach up there. So let's go fightin Dantonios!!!

Plus watching the bands now I love how every other band tries to emulate TBDBITL. Wiscy's band was plain disgusting like their head coaches up there in cheese land.

The whole thing is really sad. Half the house sits empty. The pregame sucked and was gay with the bands playing inter-mixed like that. The analysts and announcers are embarrassing. My 0-11 colts still fill the stadium. It shows how sad the fan base of 90% of the BIG really are.

I agree to an extent. But neither of these teams (MSU, Wiscy) hold a candle to what we see out of LSU, Ohio State, or USC every year. Wisconsin's defense is a joke, and Oregon's speed will fry them.

Other than watching at the Shoe and the last few minutes of their 1st game with Sparty, I haven't watched them. I was surprised Sparty's very bad offense was able to drive on them just now. I've always thought Wisc to have a very tough hard hitting D.

They haven't won any big games except at Nebraska. After they lost to OSU, you didn't hear about Wisconsin anymore.

Another good friend of mine played HS football with Mike Gundy; he told me a bunch of crazy stories about how when they were being recruited, OU had steak, lobster, shrimp, etc. but fOSU had sandwiches.

He also said Gundy (who came from money, fwiw) refuses to talk to former team-mates. It's kinda tough to root for a guy like that, I could care less about OU and UT, so for the B12, I really have no rooting interest. I also heard Bill Snyder was a huge prick to his employees.

I thought Wisky would win but this doesn't surprise me. Wisconsin's defense is bad, and MSU's is pretty good. Sparty could easily be up by 15 (2 turnovers and a missed FG). That would have surprised me.

I guess its because the B1G is so bad that its championship has been the best game of the day.

And the sec is so badass and awesome that no one really gave uga a chance to win.

And the first lsu/bama game was the game of the millennia because everyone KNEW that no one else in the sec had any reasonable chance to beat either team.

I would personally like to see that ok state O go up against that lsu D.

If lsu was to whup their ass, at least we would know the best team is from the sec.

I think other OSU played themselves into the game tonight. They weren't far behind Bama. They will pass them in the computers and a lot of pollsters will slot them 2nd especially after this beat down.

3 big misses by the officials in this one

1) Worthy blows up a 3rd and short, but called for Offside (he wasn't). Drive results in TD

2) Wilson's long ball to Duckworth he looked to have pushed the DB in the back before catching it.

3) A flop worthy of european football by the Wisc punter

I would have to think that if Oregon gets out to any sort of lead against Wisc, that there is no way they can catch up. You gunna blow it for the B1G two years in a row?

I am fairly sure this rule does not take intent into account. Running into is running into. I am not sure to which penalty "being pushed out of bounds" is referring. These calls are designed this way to take the judgment call away from the official. If he hits the kicker, you throw a flag (in design at least).

It was stupid to send anyone after the punt. The Lewis kid that hit the punter, was also the same guy who lost the toss up on 4th down to Duckworth. He knocks that down, and Sparty probably hangs on. Crazy game to watch, Sad to see a penalty decide it. Michigan State is a good team.

Who would thought that two slow-assed B1G teams would put up 80+ points in the championship game? It was by far the best game of the day. Tough runs, acrobatic catches, huge hits, stupid penalties, this game had it all. I don't think the B1G will win any bowl games this year but hopefully they are at least competitive like these two teams were today. Oh and if LSU and 'Bama have a rematch, I'll find something better to do.
