Men's Volleyball Captures First Championship
How about some good news for a change?
Behind Shawn Sangrey's game-high 30 kills, OSU rallied to beat UC Santa Barbara 20-25, 25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 15-9 to win the school's first men's volleyball title. The Buckeyes became just the second team outside of the west coast to capture the volleyball crown (Penn State in 1994 and 2008), ending the school's championship game drought.

I-O indeed. A national championship is a huge accomplishment, and it's a great reminder that there's plenty of great things going on at Ohio State.
congrats to those guys, makes us all so proud, go bucks!!!
Sangrey was beastly all night. Whenever we needed a kill, they smartly went to him.
Sweet. Who needs miles of beaches and sand to have good volleyball players?
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
Great Win. Watched the whole match. They truely dominated them. Only reason it was close was all the service errors. It's always nice to be national champs in any sport! O-H-I-O!
Hell of a match last night. I was on my feet multiple times! Love the sport. Always good to beat "west coast speed," right?! ;)
