Report: Dorian Bell Suspended for Two Games

By 11W Staff on January 11, 2011 at 9:00p

Repeat violation of a team rule. Was suspended for the Sugar Bowl and will sit out the opener against Akron to conclude his suspension.

Of course, we will never know for sure, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to make a good guess at what the "team rule" Bell broke was. If you're counting along at home, seven Buckeyes will now be out for the opener.

On a side note, this type of thing typically trickles out during bowl preparations, but we're guessing the tattoo incident helped provide cover of sorts. Best of luck to Dorian as he gets this sorted out and back onto the field in 2011.

Littering and....... Smoking the reefer!

At least that is what I guess from the "team rule" comment.

Had he been properly educated that smoking dope was against the rules?  He probably should have been allowed to play in the Sugar Bowl since OSU's compliance dept. likely did a poor job of educating the young man.

Wow so fucking clever. I wish I could have thrown that out. Jesus get over it everyone.

Always prepare for and expect victory, don't brace for defeat. If defeat happens learn and never let it happen again.

GLS:  It was a joke that I thought was kinda funny.  Maybe lay off the Red Bull a little?
