While I tend to dislike U$C very much (I try to avoid the word ‘hate’), Taylor Mays is a beast. I love the way he plays, and is the one Trojan man that I would love to see wearing the Scarlet & Gray.
Taylor Mays is a sick athlete and maybe the one guy in the nation who physically compares to Pryor in terms of simple “he shouldn’t be that big and be able to move that fast” awe.
I am also pumped, we have that in common.
Did he just call TP little deuce? He has seen TP, right? Don’t let TP know what this dude just said. Keep this a secret USC fans.

Mays was very classy in his comments….. he made sure to steer clear of Bulletin Board Material. He was just joking around with Pryor… seems like a cool guy. The fact is this guy is a beast and must be accounted for on every play.
@PALM BEACH BUCKEYE…. I couldn’t agree with you more. You could put up “Big Deuce, Little Deuce” on the bulletin board if you wanted to, but that would be grasping for extra motivation, something I don’t think any Buckeye fan thinks these kids should need. It was especially classy of him to know a bit about the stadium (albeit without appropriate attendance figures). And of course to shout out the last two USC and tOSU Heisman winners was well balanced and thoughtful. Can’t wait for the game!
I love how the West Coast media loves to talk about how much they don’t care about this game.
I’m not so sure he was being too careful. He made sure to call TP out and was smiling and was all giggly about it.

11W admins, you need to give us a delete option, it’s really hard to pull off a zinger when i keep forgetting to type certain flipping words. also, i think we should be able to cuss during the season. no swearing is great for offseason, but has no place during the regular season.

Those comments were great. He is loose, he shows respect, he shows pride, he engages Pryor, but seems to do it in a respectful way, like when they both get on the field they are going to enjoy it. I mean, during the game I expect Mays to lay a hit on Pryor, and I expect Pryor to just run past him at some point. Game on!
Don’t be surprised to see Pryor try to lay a hit on him. Minus the Texas game where he was probably injured, Pryor wasn’t afraid of contact (see the Minny game).
Did anyone else notice the size of Mays’ hands when they flashed on the screen? He better not drop INT’s with those garden tools!

Pryor may be forced to test him. However, I suspect we’ll see plays designed to mitigate teh effectivenss of a guy like Mays. Still, Pryors size and speed are great assets should anyone break through.
