It’s the usual ploy they use to get under your skin. If you’re a Buckeye fan, they say that Michigan State is their biggest rival…if you’re a Sparty, then OSU is the biggest rival.
Having attended both MSU and OSU, I’ve seen this from both sides on numerous occasions.
But the enemy sucks since Carr left.
Shouldn’t they have put the Toledo logo on those instead? You know, build themselves up to us as the year goes on.
Its funny that on the opposite end of the specturm, tress would NEVER do that for one of his practices as it would create definate complacency among the troops. MichiscUM is an after-thought…….

What a bunch of obsessed tools. The reason Michigan is able to maintain multiple rivalries (MSU, ND, “thee” OSU) is that it’s fans are tolerable enough to tailgate with, discuss football, stand next to, etc. No self-respecting university would want to subject it’s fans to the irrelevant drivel falling out of buckeye mouths. Enjoy “LMAOing” and “LOLing” while you have a chance losers. You’ll be back where you belong in this rivalry soon enough…
In the meantime tho, you go ahead and figure out which rivalry you want. You are getting pwned in all of them, so choose wisely. I would go with ND……..

michigan fans tend to start adding rivalries whenever they start to get beat on a consistent basis by their biggest rival (or next biggest rival, and so on). so hopefully you guys beat MSU or ND this year, because i don’t know who else you guys have on your Chart Of Teams We Play A Lot And Can Beat.

I like how this has turned around from the 90’s. Its good to be the hated one. :) They’re thinking about winning just one game and were thinking about winning every game and the national championship.
I love the “get it in while you can” UM feelings. Yeah…we will. The question I would be asking myself as a UM fan would be…how long can we? From last year’s results, I don’t know how optimistic you can be about this year’s prospects with a true frosh at the wheel. Before you bring up TP to bolster the true frosh idea, please remember that tOSU was not 3-9 and totally irrelevant the year prior to his arrival.
Just check the lines in September, I say tOSU is -4.5-6 against SC and UM will be +double digits against little throw peep and the domers. OK, OK…+7.
