I can't blame a kid for wanting to play right away, but you have to question his willingness to step up in competition. One could play right away at OSU, if they were good enough. There is some kid out there, who is probably equaled in talent and wants to play for Big Ten and national titles and JT will find him.
I also agree with Phil, Givens seems to be a "spur of the moment" committer.

Great photo! I hate wishing the summer away, but man I can't wait for this upcoming season.
I have to crap.
Football starts this weekend?
Shit.
did we land brandon mcgee? This class is sick if we did.
Too bad The Little Animal, Robo, Beanie, Boecks, Boone, and Jenkins all left after their freshmen year. We would have had a dominant team.
OH WAIT WRONG SPORT!
Just think of the madness if that could happen.
Did you guys hear the news about USC?
Should I be nervous?

Terrell(e),
Corvettes aren't as easy to track as straight cash, homie.
Darrell givens switches verbal to Penn state....story on dottingthei.com...who would want to be the next Justin king anyway
Too bad about Givens. That said, he'll definitely play earlier at PSU, though I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing.
It's a hit to the class, but the class is so good otherwise that The Vest will just offer someone else. Their secondary is pretty deep.
Givens will commit two or more times before he finally picks a winner.
