OSU is losing a scholarship for mens basketball. Looks like Oden, Conley, and Cook hurt OSU pretty badly by leaving early. I would like to know the details though because I think it would be unfair to punish them because they left early to go pro. I think what hurt OSU was that they left before the end of the quarter and therefore they must have failed the classes. Hurts the GPA and eligibility requirements obviously and therefore that affects the APR, which is what the NCAA uses to impose sanctions on under performing teams. Unfortunate but OSU is appealing.
