11W v2
On August 20, this blog celebrates its first birthday. It’s been an incredible first year and a real thrill to think that folks are actually stopping by to read what two idiots have to say about their beloved Buckeyes.
What originally started as a post questioning whether Jason Whitlock may indeed be burning down morphed into more serious posts such as game previews. In short, we’ve had a blast and met a lot of really cool people along the way.
To celebrate, we’ve launched a new design that while being able to showcase some cool new features, still pays homage to the look and feel that you’re all used to. On the surface, not much has changed, but we were able to pack a lot of functional elements in. We’re really digging the blog-friendly football and basketball schedules as well as the Big Ten Blogger feed.
If you have a second, let us know what you think.

I like it. Bottom line is, when so many people are using 1024×768 or better (90% of the people on my site), there’s no good reason not to have two sidebars. I like blank space, but there’s no need for that much blank space. I might suggest seeing about getting the title image to extend further, so it’s over the main section and the first sidebar, but I imagine changing that would be a pain, and things look good as they are.
Also, I’d suggest giving it a month before you change anything. People don’t like new stuff, and once they get used to it, change isn’t so bad. So wait, and if the stuff that seems like a problem now is still a problem later, then change it.

Thanks guys. I completely agree with the thoughts on the expanded layout. I meant to fix the header logo size, but forgot.

Thanks guys. No doubt it was a lot more difficult getting to 1 year than I had anticipated. May, June and July aren’t the easiest months for content.
Also appreciate a compliment from a Wolverine fan. You know it means something.
