The final award of the season goes to Pittsburgh Steeler rookie wide receiver Santonio Holmes. Holmes caught 4 passes for 124 yards including the game winner on a 67 yard strike in overtime as the Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-17.
For the season, Holmes finished second on the team with 49 receptions good for 824 yards and two touchdowns. Holmes also notched a punt return touchdown.

Yeah, Holmes really came on strong. It's funny because I moved to Chicago in April and two of my neighbors happen to be Steeler fans (one from PA, one from NJ but went to college @ CMU) and of course I was talking up Holmes all summer.
It was tough to defend him after all of those early return muffs, but by the end of the year, they had seen the light.
