Buckeye NFLer of the Week - 15
The Buckeye NFLer of week 15 was defensive end Will Smith of the New Orleans Saints. The Fresh Prince had four tackles in a 16-10 Saints loss to the Washington Redskins.
The big news is Smith’s selection to his first Pro Bowl as a starter for the NFC at defensive end. On the season, Smith has 47 total tackles and a career-best 10.5 sacks in helping the Saints to a 9-5 record and a two game lead with two to go in the NFC South.
you never know how college studs are gonna pan out in the NFL, but I can’t say I’m surprised the fresh prince is doing so well…He makes the Saints even easier to root for.
4 tackles earns player of the week? Santonio had 3 catches for 25 yards and a 65 yard punt return for TD……give the Steelers some love!!
My bad. You have a good point. I was just so pumped to see Smith make the Pro Bowl as a starter that I kind of overlooked his week 15 output.
