The Other Paper (also known as “The Land of Impossible Permalinking”) brings us news that the University of Michigan’s 208-page 2006 football media guide refuses to acknowledge the existence of last year’s squad. No stats. No recaps.
It opens with an 84-page photo spread of past success, without any mention of the 2005 squad. Even Illinois, which won two games last year, recaps the 2005 season in its media guide.
