A total of 169 current or former Ohio State student-athletes will receive their degrees from the university during Ohio State's spring commencement on Sunday.

The group of graduating Buckeyes includes nine current or former football players, including former NFL stars Santonio Holmes and Nick Mangold, who are graduating through the university's degree completion program.

Other football players who will officially become Ohio State alumni include five who are still members of the team: offensive lineman Branden Bowen, linebacker Justin Hilliard, defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson Jr., long snapper Liam McCullough and wide receiver C.J. Saunders. Former Buckeye linebacker Nick Conner, whose career was cut short by injuries, and kicker Bryan Kristan, who played his final season for Ohio State in 2018, are also graduating.

Five current or former Ohio State men's basketball players are graduating from the university on Sunday, including Greg Oden, who has spent the past three years with the Buckeyes as a student assistant coach. Danny Hummer, C.J. Jackson and Joey Lane will also receive their bachelor's degrees on Sunday, while Andrew Dakich – who also served as a student assistant coach this past season – will receive his master's degree in sports coaching.

Other notable graduates include former men's hockey player Mason Jobst and women's track and field sprinter Karrington Winters, this year's Ohio State recipients of the Big Ten Medal of Honor, and a multitude of All-Americans including wrestlers Myles Martin, Kollin Moore, Joey McKenna and Micah Jordan, softball player Lilli Piper, women's golfer Jaclyn Lee, fencer Marc-Antoine Blais Belanger and women's hockey's Jincy Dunne.
