Winning two out of four games isn't a big deal for most college basketball teams. It certainly isn't a big deal for the Ohio State women's basketball team, which has the conference on lockdown and is the second-ranked squad in the country.

But if you're the men's basketball team, and one of those wins was against one of the best teams in America and the other ended a 17-game conference losing streak? Hell yeah, we'll take that.

This week on the Dubcast, Johnny and George are pretty psyched about Jake Diebler's crew pulling off a buzzer-beating victory against Sparty in the Izzodome, and talk a little about what kind of implications the last week or so might have for Ohio State men's basketball in the (very near future). Plus, all the comings and goings of college sports in general, and of course a banger of an Ask Us Anything slate!

  • The Buckeyes are still a significant longshot to make the NCAA tournament, but maaayyybbbeeee!
  • Additionally, it's becoming clear that Jake Diebler is leaving his mark on this team, in a good way
  • Women's basketball continues to roll, with a big time matchup coming up against Iowa
  • Weird stadium stuff! And some court storming discourse!
  • Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com, wants to know who our cartoon crushes were as kids. As KIDS, I said!
  • New CFP format is good and cool, especially with on-site games
  • I regret to inform you that $600 is not that many dollars

And that'll do it! Thanks as always to you for listening and checking out our Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next week!
