Just call him "Punxsutawney Chris" or "Groundhog Holtmann," because Buckeye fans have six more weeks of road losses to look forward to at this rate.

Following Ohio State's 15th road loss in a row, Johnny and George discuss the continued downward spiral of the men's basketball team with only four more opportunities remaining this season to snap the streak. This comes as Gene Smith presumably prepares to hand over hiring authority to Ross Bjork during the offseason.

Meanwhile, Thad Matta has Butler pushing for a late bid to the NCAA Tournament in only his second season back in Indianapolis. The contrast in the two programs has simply become too funny to ignore.

Additionally the Dubcast discussion also covers:

  • Women's basketball takes down another top 10 team, moves into the AP top five, and there remains plenty of time for Buckeye fans in and beyond Columbus to jump on the bandwagon.
  • Has Tim Walton surpassed Brian Hartline as the best recruiter on the Ohio State football staff?
  • What are the potential ramifications of Bill O'Brien leaving after only arriving a short while ago?
  • Ask Us Anything! — writers to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com this week inquired about many topics, such as "how image conscious are we," or "what are your biggest Ohio State football 'what ifs'?"
  • Archie Griffin is getting a statue at the Rose Bowl! But how should UCLA fans feel about that?
  • The Big Ten and SEC are forming an advisory group that threatens the influence and power of the NCAA. Will this actually go forward? How does it compare to other power struggles across the sports world, such as UFC vs. USADA?

Thank you for tuning in, and make sure to follow the Dubcast on Twitter to stay updated on next week's and all future episodes! Swing by the 11W Dry Goods store in the meantime!
