Before we talk about Marvin Harrison, Jr., I want to quickly address last week's Dubcast post: we made a mistake with how we presented our conversation about Kyle McCord.

Derisive jokes about Buckeyes, past or present or future, really isn't something that we are aiming for as a show, and McCord certainly doesn't deserve that kind of heat. That was a dumb decision on our part, and we apologize for it.

As far as this week goes, with Marvin Harrison, Jr. as a Heisman finalist, I think it's important that we get into how we contextualize his season and career at Ohio State. He's certainly going to finish as one of the greatest Buckeye wideouts ever, but how does OSU's lack of success against Michigan impact his legacy?

Plus, it looks like we're going to get Jim Knowles for at least another season (hooray) and also James Franklin is going to lose Manny Diaz (also hooray), which means that so far the coaching carousel is working out in Ohio State's favor! We'll see if that lasts.

Also!

  • Men's basketball blew it against Penn State, but it's still a massively entertaining team that probably has some surprises up its sleeve
  • Ask Us Anything, which you can do by sending us questions to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com, wants to know our stance on Christmas decorations (among other things)
  • What the hell is going on with Michigan basketball?
  • COLUMBUS IS A CITY OF CHAMPIONS ONCE AGAIN

And that'll do it for the Dubcast this week; thanks as always to our sponsor, OneMedical, thanks to you for listening and checking out the Dry Goods store, and we'll see you next time!
