Ohio State women’s basketball is on the rise.

The Buckeyes moved up six spots to No. 12 in this week’s AP Top 25, which was released Monday, just one day after Ohio State earned its biggest win of the season with a 100-92 overtime victory over Iowa.

The Hawkeyes, who were ranked No. 2 and had won 15 straight contests entering Sunday’s game, dropped three spots to fifth with the loss. Ohio State is now the second-highest-ranked team in the Big Ten, jumping Indiana, who moved up two spots to 14th in this week’s poll.
