Four of Ohio State’s best linebackers from the 2000s will reunite at Ohio State’s 2024 coaches clinic.

This year’s coaches clinic will feature a roundtable discussion with former Ohio State linebackers AJ Hawk, James Laurinaitis, Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Schlegel, according to the list of speakers announced by Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson on Monday.

It’s the second straight year that Ohio State’s coaches clinic will feature a roundtable discussion among Ohio State luminaries. Last year, Ohio State’s coaches clinic was headlined by a roundtable discussion between current head coach Ryan Day and former head coaches Urban Meyer, Jim Tressel and John Cooper.

This year’s coaches clinic will also feature a presentation by Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who earned AP NFL Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 2023, his first season with the Browns. He’ll join Day and each of Ohio State’s full-time assistant coaches in presenting at this year’s clinic.

Legendary Ohio State offensive lineman Jim Lachey, former Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio and two of the state’s top high school coaches – Nate Moore (Massillon) and Tim Goodwin (Marion Local) – will be honored with the “Ohio’s Finest” award.

The clinic will be held from April 11-13 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Coaches interested in registering for the clinic can do so on Ohio State’s official website. The registration fee costs $75 before March 31 and $85 after March 31.
