Garrett Wilson already made one of the NFL’s best catches of the year.

The former Ohio State receiver demonstrated his spectacular talent on Monday Night Football with his first touchdown catch of the season. Despite being tightly covered by Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White, Wilson hauled in a 3-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Wilson by tipping the quarterback’s throw away from White and then deflecting it again to himself, tying the game at 13-13 with just under five minutes to play in regulation.

Wilson’s spectacular catch drew a wave of reaction from his former Ohio State teammates, including current Buckeye star Marvin Harrison Jr. and several other recent Buckeye receivers.

Wilson’s catch, the first touchdown of the game for the Jets, helped send Monday night’s game to overtime as both teams were tied 16-16 at the end of regulation. The Jets won the game in overtime, 22-16, on a 65-yard punt return touchdown by Xavier Gipson.
