Eli Apple is getting a fresh start in Miami.

The former Ohio State cornerback inked a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Apple spent has last two seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, racking up 98 tackles in 31 regular season games. He also forced a fumble, picked off two passes and recorded 18 pass deflections in his Bengals' tenure.

Apple, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, will provide much-needed depth for the Dolphins after Jalen Ramsey suffered a meniscus injury earlier this week.

In his NFL career, Apple has recorded 331 tackles, 51 passes defended, five interceptions and three forced fumbles.
