Cameron Johnston's NFL career will continue in Houston.

The former Ohio State punter has agreed to a three-year, $8 million contract with the Houston Texans, according to multiple reports.

With an average annual salary of $2.667 million, Johnston now ranks as the NFL's eighth-highest-paid punter, according to Spotrac.

Johnston's move to Houston comes after three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, who opted not to re-sign him due to salary cap issues. In his three seasons with the Eagles, Johnston averaged 47 yards per punt, ranking in the NFL's top 12 in yards per punt in all three seasons.

Now, the Australian punter heads to Houston, where he joins former Ohio State teammate Bradley Roby on the Texans' roster.
