Once again, the Buckeyes are touchdown underdogs.

After blasting Clemson 49-28, Ohio State finds itself as a decisive underdog in the next game as Alabama opens as a 7-point favorite over the Buckeyes in the College Football Playoff championship game, according to multiple sportsbooks.

The Buckeyes closed as a 6.5-point underdog against Clemson, marking the first time Ohio State was an underdog this season.

This marks the largest spread the Buckeyes have faced since they closed as a 7.5-point underdog the last time they faced Alabama in the 2015 Sugar Bowl – a game which the Buckeyes won 42-35.

After Friday's win over Clemson, Ohio State is now 8-1 straight up as an underdog since 2012, with last year's game to Clemson the lone loss.
