Shaun Wade's Fiesta Bowl ended in the second quarter.

The redshirt sophomore cornerback was ejected for targeting in the second quarter after a sack on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Junior cornerback Amir Riep entered the game in place of Wade in the slot.

Wade will miss the remainder of the game against Clemson, but since the penalty came in the first half of the game, he will be available for the national championship game should the Buckeyes advance to take on LSU.
