The Eleven Warriors Web Report comes to you weekly from the Spectrum Sports studios in downtown Columbus, featuring our own Beau Bishop, Dan Hope and former Buckeye wide receiver Evan Spencer.

While Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Monday that he and his team have had "zero conversation" about the College Football Playoff, that didn't stop our panel from discussing the Buckeyes' playoff chances on this week's show.

Although it's a stretch to advocate that Ohio State belongs in the playoff, as Bishop noted, after its 55-24 loss to Iowa two games ago, the Buckeyes appear to have a path into the playoff after their 48-3 win over Michigan State on Saturday, combined this past weekend's upset losses by Georgia, Notre Dame and Washington.

The clearest path into the playoff, Bishop believes, is if Alabama, Miami and Oklahoma all win out, which would likely leave the fourth spot open for Ohio State if it can win out and defeat Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship Game.

"Ohio State's path isn't even chaos anymore, because chaos happened last weekend," Bishop said. "I think that's a simple path that's very realistic."

After a discussion among the guys about the various scenarios that could play out and the factors that could help Ohio State in the playoff debate, the panel turned the conversation to another hot-button topic surrounding the program – alternate uniforms – following Monday's unveiling of the uniforms the Buckeyes will be wearing at Michigan.

Bishop, a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms, said he believes the new threads "look really cool" but should not be worn in the annual rivalry game.

"As a kid growing up in Montana, if I flipped on the TV at 10 a.m. on that Saturday in November, I saw maize and blue and I saw scarlet and gray," Bishop said. "You're cheapening your brand."

The guys ultimately agreed, though, that one of the factors that could help the Buckeyes make the College Football Playoff is also the driving factor behind the decision to wear alternates in one of their most-watched games of the year.

"Money is a factor in the College Football Playoff, it's a factor in uniforms too," Hope said.
