BUCKEYES TO BROWNS
Mike Hall Jr. is selected 54th overall in the second round of the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.
One of the things that's ever-so-slightly difficult about compiling a set of Tweets every week is that there's usually an hour or so window of time between the end of a game and the beginning of football players getting on social media. Usually I spend those hours frowning into the ether and worrying about life, but tonight I decided to take my girlfriend out to see Doctor Strange.
Anyway, the short version of this parable is that amidst the conjuring and incantations and cape jokes is a lot of talking about alternate dimensions. Which at first seemed like crazy talk but once I got out of the movie and saw that pretty much every top ten team had lost (minus any that have made obvious pacts with Lucifer himself), it's clear that the very fabric of reality has been torn in half.
Hell, we were rooting for Michigan to win at one point, clearly a sign of a sick universe. Still, it's a universe in which Ohio State drops 62 points on the Terps, so it can't be all bad.
