Ohio State is red hot on the recruiting trail.

Amid a massive recruiting weekend for the Buckeyes, OSU landed commitments from two top defensive prospects in the 2025 class in two days.

Four-star defensive end London Merritt committed to Ohio State on Friday before his unofficial visit to Columbus got underway, and four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford followed on Saturday night.

With Merritt and Alford in the fold, OSU now has nine commitments in the 2025 class including eight of the class’ top 101 overall prospects.

Meanwhile, the Buckeyes continued their pursuit of several other top prospects in the class – including the No. 1 ranked offensive tackle in the 2025 class, David Sanders Jr. – by hosting them for Student Appreciation Day visits. While Clemson may be considered the frontrunner nationally in his recruitment, Ohio State has at least a puncher's chance for the standout tackle.

Eleven Warriors' Garrick Hodge and Dan Hope broke down what the additions of Alford and Merritt mean for Ohio State's 2025 recruiting class, along with where things stand with Sanders, on the latest episode of Press Coverage, which you can watch in the video player at the top of the page.
