Thad Matta's 12th season as the head coach of the Buckeye basketball program officially got underway Tuesday as the media converged on the Schottenstein Center for media day.
Although only four players from Matta's team were made available, the day marked the introduction of five true freshmen and a pair of new faces, transfer Trevor Thompson and redshirt freshman David Bell.
