Another year, another regular season conference championship for The Ohio State men's tennis team. The Buckeyes swept Wisconsin in Madison on Sunday to lock up an 18th straight Big Ten title.

Ohio State clinched at least a share of the title on Friday in a win over Nebraska before earning outright honors two days later. While all Buckeyes performed admirably in Sunday’s sweep, the most noteworthy performance belonged to Robert Cash in earning his 140th career doubles win — a program record likely to last forever as Cash played five seasons for the Buckeyes due to COVID-19 eligibility permissions.

Ohio State has won every Big Ten men’s tennis regular-season title since 2006, the second-longest streak of any Big Ten team in any sport behind only Iowa wrestling, which won 25 consecutive titles from 1974-98. The Buckeyes are 188-2 in Big Ten play and 584-62 overall since the beginning of the streak.

The Buckeyes now await the beginning of Big Ten Tournament play next Friday before the start of NCAA Regionals the following weekend. Ohio State currently sits atop the D-I Men's Tennis Rankings with a 27-1 record this season.
