You may find that work, school, or other obligations keep you from focusing on Twitter the way you should. Thankfully for you, I'm able to tune out those distractions and provide you with a weekly rundown of the best tweets from around campus.

The Buckeyes start their Big Ten slate tomorrow with a clash of the titans, an undefeated match-up against Indiana (my score prediction was 56-10, so you can blame me when the upset happens). As always, we'll help pass the time by rounding up the week's best tweets from around campus.

Also, if you were one of the vocal haters of the team's black jerseys, Darron Lee has some words for you:

The Manimal has spoken. No, he will not get off your lawn.

Once again, the replies were filled with the cleverest of people suggesting "quarterbacks" and "Wolverines."

Kam Williams, giving us a little preview of what's coming. Apparently he's not the only Buckeye with ups:

Kam Williams vs. Sean Nuernberger dunk contest. Let's make it happen.

My mom got a Twitter when I left for college to keep tabs on me. She got SMS messages every time I posted a Tweet. If you follow me, you can understand how no human could possibly take on this burden. She rage quit after a month.

I think you may be on to something, Mr. Sprinkle.

Brady Taylor and the BMI Calculator do not get along.

Man bun, No. 00, white, shorts above the knees and he's named Mickey. This is going to be an A+ four years. He will be the most hated individual in the Big Ten by the time he graduates — and I love it.

I'm on team Stephen, I am absolutely anti-haunted house. You're paying somebody to scare the hell out of you. That just doesn't make sense. "Dude! Let's pay $50 to have someone chase us with a chainsaw! That'll be sweet!"

My R.A. never did this, and I'm upset. #AthletePrivilege

I was not so lucky this morning, but it's okay. Class will be there Monday.

This should be fun. Any suggestions?

dolodale's birthday

Tyvis was asked about his birthday gift to Cardale. This was his response:

Again, I'm disappointed in Mark Pantoni. It was the starting quarterback's birthday and he failed to deliver a birthday baby picture. It was his chance to shine and he blew it.

hinton gets trucked

It looks like tight ends coach Tim Hinton had a rough week of practice.

He took it like a champ, but it concerns me that this is a regular occurrence:

It's apparent Tim Hinton is in a hostile working environment. If he continues to take shots like this, I hope he has a sizable life insurance policy.

adolphus washington joins zone-6

At 6-feet-4-inches tall and 290 pounds, Adolphus Washington is now the largest member of Zone-6. Many Buckeyes took to the Twitterverse to congratulate him.

I agree, wholeheartedly. Give him a hand-off. Throw him a screen. Hell, let him run deep on a "go" route. What's the worst that could happen?

True story: We're sitting in the stands and right before the snap my friend looks at me and says "Pick-Six." Ball is snapped, I see Washington drop into the flats and I immediately yell "no way" and shake my head in disbelief.

There was another witness.

This week's winner of twitter

And Darron Lee won the week with flawless response:

Follow Friday:

  • Michael Drake @OSUPrezDrake Ohio State President Michael Drake is now on Twitter. Give him a follow.
