This has been a long time coming for the Tribe. It's their first division title since 2007, when they won 96 games and went to Game 7 of the ALCS before losing to Boston.
Now the question is can they obtain home-field advantage over Texas in the AL West and Boston in the AL East in the six games remaining in the regular season? They trailed both teams by 1 1/2 games entering Monday night.
There is also the question of pitching health. Carrasco is done for the year. Salazar threw a bullpen session Monday, but Chris Antonetti, president of baseball operations, said if he makes the postseason roster -- at least in the early rounds -- he'll pitch only out of the bullpen.
