Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press confirmed the news. The deal is for two years and $47.5 million, according to Wojnarowski, who added there is a player option included for the second year.
Wade is a great player when healthy and it's crazy to think that just 3 years ago the heat had one of the best teams in the entire NBA and now they only have Bosh and Dragic. Wade apparently told people close to him that the only team he would leave Miami for was Chicago. In a letter published by the AP Wade said that he is
thankful to have an opportunity to play for the team that first fueled my love of the game.
Chris Bosh was not happy about the decision as can be seen below
